Combination Symbols
The purpose of this project was to design three symbols that combine an object and a service oriented business. The symbols were to be in black and white with no letters allowed. We were to survey individuals and test the symbols to see if they communicated the business and object we were designing. The three symbols I created represented Helm Mechanics, Skull Painting, and Crown Dentistry. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the service symbols. Each of the symbols try to combine the two ideas into one connected shape. Symbols usually communicate better if they are simple. I tried to achieve this through using basic shapes to form the objects and leaving out excess details.
