Gift Booklet
The gift booklet project's purpose was to design an 8-page gift booklet with a cover using a recent talk from General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was to demonstrate typographic hierarchy and skill in designing the booklet. The book was to be designed with a specific audience in mind.
The talk I chose was "Bearer's of Heavenly Light" by Pres. Dieter F. Uchtdorf. I used Egyptian Slate and Trade Gothic Next for my two contrasting fonts. I implemented yellow bars of light to display on various pages with having the black backgrounds to simulate the pull between darkness and light.
