Social Media Campaign

For COMM315 Social Media design, we were tasked to brand ourselves and run a social media campaign for multiple weeks. I branded myself as a music artist using the social media platforms Facebook and Instagram. My reasoning for Facebook was to target the older generation while Instagram seems to be more popular among the younger generation. I developed a style guide that included my logo, color palette, target audience, how photographs would appear on my platforms, and other stylistic elements that would set my brand apart. All photos and designs are original. The style guide was created to match the branding style and colors.

During the campaign, I ran 3 ads. This helped to gain more followers on Instagram. The primary target audience was women ranging from the ages of 18 to 65. After I ran my ads I noticed an uptick in views to my Facebook account stemming from men. From that ad campaign, I added a secondary target audience of men from the ages of 30 to 65.
